Finally a real workout on the NES...

An article on Crave yesterday really got me thinking about possible furniture schemes for my future house......ok, so right now maybe I only have room in my tiny apartment for a pole lamp at best, but who knows what could happen in the future.....

They were showing off a huge classic NES controller. The article also contains a video showing it all in action, and yes it does actually work. This guy apparently had some extra time on his hands and needed a coffee table/storage trunk. That's one way to fill out your living space. You can check out his blog and see the process in some more detail. It seems he was inspired by these guys at Attach of the Show and their giant controller. I'm no hard core gamer by any means, but I think if I had to rely on someone else to be doing the jumping and fireball shooting for me things would not go so well....

What I really want to see is them playing this with their feet. Kind of a DDR classic Mario style. And that track and field game where you had to push the A and B buttons as fast as possible would be a much better workout if you were actually running on the buttons....better exercise than the Wii....
The real question I have though, is does it come with matching Zapper gun end tables??
